Now here are some hooks from my collection. These were two I ordered from Craft Designs for You (2008). The hook size is at the top of the handle, a nice feature. Hook from Addicted to Yarn by Katy Doty. I got these in January 2008. I like them so much that I've given them as gifts. They are priced very affordably for those who want to branch out with their hook collection.
These are my Meno Trigger Grip Hooks. I purchased an H and an I on sale from Annie's Attic They were half price then. The sale is over now and when I looked today - January 2008 - they carried only the G hook. I bought one for my daughter who has trouble crocheting for long periods because of hand pain. I see today that Herrschner has them on sale for about $20. You can read more about these hooks here. They are similar in design to the Provocraft below, but Provocraft kit has two different type hook handles. Here are my Crochet Cabana
10th year anniversary hooks made by
Craft Designs For You.
Lovely people to work with and just gorgeous hooks, which function perfectly -
at least for me they did. :-) These are my Christmas 2007 hooks. The boxed set is Provocraft. The hook with the red hook and flowery base is a J . The wooden one with the brown top is an L from Fancy Kitty and is a very smooth, beautiful hook of Ebony and Acrylic. The tiny 2 1/2" Eucalyptus is an I. This was also a Christmas gift. It is a locker hook - Quick Lock. It has a crochet hook on one end and a needle hole on the other. As of this writing, I had not tried it yet. Here are my lighted hooks. I received the Needlelite for my birthday 2008. I've had the Crochet Lite for a while. Here are three different photos of the wooden Sharky hook my husband got me for our 25th anniversary. Wasn't that sweet of him? It is an L hook. L is one of my favorite sizes. I also like H and I. Of course, I have used just about every size in my 25+ years of crocheting. Here is my Eleggant Ergonomic hook, purchased on Ebay. I haven't used it yet so I can't make any claims on it. :-) I don't think I've shown this hook. It has a flat section and is said to be good for those with It can be purchased at Boomerang. Here are some Etimo hooks. They have a soft "body" which makes it quite comfortable to use. Swing Addi hook purchased at Jimmy Beans Wool Here is Jimbo's Front Porch 2010 Crimmis Hook ("Crimmis" coming from Jimbo's son Lance mispronunciation of Christmas as a child). I WON this gorgeous hook, made from Holly, a very smooth, white wood. It is an I (5.5mm). The red light is a REAL Christmas Tree light and is easily removed to crochet. The light makes the hook a little top heavy for crocheting. Here is the original announcement of my good fortune from Jimbo's.
CONGRATULATIONS SANDIE, I HOPE YOUR CRIMMIS HOOK MAKES LOTS OF NICE THINGS FOR YOU! AND THANK YOU ALL FOR ENTERING.... KEEP WATCHING, THERE WILL BE OTHER CONTESTS COMING.
