Charity Info

We can’t fix everything but each one of us can help someone somewhere. Together, we can MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

These pages contain some useful information and guidelines to help you when creating crocheted items for charity. Please always check with your own charity coordinator. Don’t assume these suggestions apply to every effort.

Charity Links

I have separated the charities below into Tax Exempt and Not Tax Exempt, so far as I could determine. This could change, of course, and I will not be checking each one, so if you learn a charity is now tax exempt, is no longer tax exempt, or if I have it incorrectly identified, please feel free to let me know. This is not to say either is more or less important. It is just a help to those to whom finances might be an issue. Remember to check Ravelry to see if your group has a group there as well. Or if you don’t want to join a Yahoo group or need a means to keep track of things, you can join a Ravelry group quite easily with no obligation or receiving e-mails in your box.
