Puff Heart Stripes

This is one of the most popular Crochet Cabana afghan patternse. The Baby Love and Prayers takes the Puff Heart Square and works it  in horizontal rows and the Puff Heart Stripes uses the same square, but works it in vertical stripes. All this is done in one piece, not joined squares, making fewer ends to sew in.

The original idea for the BLAP came from Rachel Krupp, a very talented crocheter and a very sweet lady as well. Rachel has created many of these ghans in different colors, praying for each recipient as she works.

Here are some different color schemes and variations of the two ghans.

Approx width 5 hearts across: F hook 30", G hook 36", H hook 43"

12 hearts across for a queen sized ghan	5 hearts across, 5 down 36" x 39"
5 hearts across, 6 down	5 hearts across, 5 down

The buttons above were my first at the Cabana. I keep them for sentimental reasons. :-)
