Gift for Graham

Cade's afghan

48" x 76"

This is Cade's Granny Square Afghan. Cade chose the colors black and orange. I made large granny squares combining the two colors in various patterns.

Carly's afghan

45" x 68"

This afghan was made with white and shades of blue. I used a pattern in the Afghans on the Double book called A Study in Comfort - and it really was comfortable to work with. Kept me warm. :-) I used double strands and a large wooden hook. I think maybe an M, but I'm not positive on that.

Tyler's Afghan

40" x 65"

This double strand afghan was made with Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn. It took approx 8 oz of each color of blue and 24 ozs white. The pattern is my Double Strand X-Stitch Afghan made using the ch 75. Color changes were made at the "repeat", beginning with a hole row.

Rett's afghan

40" x 62"

This is the Beginner's Luck pattern, from a Brunswick leaflet #768 "Knit and Crochet Afghans". My copy is c1990. I've seen it on sale as c1978. I added a border of double crochet and then reverse sc.

Dylan's afghan

50" x 75"

This camouflage afghan was made with Ben's Camouflage Ripple Afghan pattern. It uses approx 54 ozs camouflage yarn.

Darby and Nuzzles cuddling in Alaska
