Cade's afghan

This is Cade's Granny
Square Afghan. Cade chose the colors black and orange. I made large granny
squares combining the two colors in various patterns.

Carly's afghan
45" x 68"
This afghan was made with white and
shades of blue. I used a pattern in the Afghans on the Double book called A
Study in Comfort - and it really was comfortable to work with.
Kept me warm. :-) I used double strands and a large wooden hook. I think
maybe an M, but I'm not positive on that.

Tyler's Afghan

This double strand afghan was made with
Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn. It took approx 8 oz of each color
of blue and 24 ozs white. The pattern is my
Double Strand X-Stitch Afghan made using the ch 75.
Color
changes were made at the "repeat", beginning with a hole row.

This is the Beginner's Luck pattern, from a Brunswick
leaflet #768 "Knit and Crochet Afghans". My copy is c1990.
I've seen it on sale as c1978. I added a border of double crochet and then
reverse sc.
