Front Post Triple Cross Stitch (FPtrcr) (Faux Cable)

The Faux Cable is used to make the scarf below. This scarf pattern was the design chosen for Knit Your Bit's 2010 pattern of the year. You can find it at the National WW II Museum's Knit Your Bit page (cabled seaman's scarf,  pattern 5) and in the charity section under scarves for veterans.  Pattern uses a J hook and worsted weight acrylic yarn. Two versions are given. One with the ribbed section worked horizontally and one with it worked vertically.

To begin ch 20 and work a row of dc and then a row of sc. Ch 2 or 3, turn, and work 4 dc. The instructions below start at that point. Read left to right, top to bottom.

After this row you must work a row of sc so that your cables will all be on the same side.
