Crochet Basics
This section of the web site is dedicated specifically to teaching others the little I know about crochet. I often remember that first time I held a crochet hook in my own hand. I was in my early twenties (summer of 1980), on vacation with my cousin's wife, Katy, her children, and her friend Diane. Katy and Diane took out their crochet hooks. Before I knew it, I had a hook in my own hand and I'll always be grateful they took the time to share their knowledge of crochet with me. It's been a tremendous blessing in my life. Teachers, please do not use these tutorials in your classes without specific permission. I have pdf files available for teachers. Please see the Teaching page for detail.
