I've already done one row of single crochet on the previous page as I showed how to go into the foundation chain. Now we're going to do a second row of single crochet and I will explain how to make the actual single crochet stitch.
Fig. 2 - chain one (ch-1) Chain one (ch-1) to bring your first stitch up to the height of the rest
of your row. Turn piece so that you are looking at the back of the first row of sc as
in Fig. 3.
Added note: Some patterns will tell you to go into the front or back
loop only. Increasing in
